Who's behind Traveline
Traveline North East and Cumbria is provided by North East Transport Information Service, a partnership of local authorities and transport operators throughout the north east of England, Cumbria County Council also works with us.
This partnership brings you local knowledge, local expertise and a solid foundation upon which to ensure that Traveline North East and Cumbria continues to develop the very best travel information service available.
Similar partnerships cover all other parts of the UK, with call centres and websites linking together to provide information covering the whole country.
The cost of providing the service is shared between transport operators and local authorities.
